Communication plays an important role in employee satisfaction. Most of the problem arises when employees are not happy with their bosses on top of it instead of discussing the issue on face to face, they prefer to badmouth them behind their backs. Bosses need to realise that there are very few individuals who really have the courage to come up with their grievances in front of their superiors. For them, the easiest solution is to sit quietly or to do nothing or look for another job. Employees are needed to motivate and to spend time with them and make them a part of the discussion so that they can share their ideas and opinions.
This way communication plays a vital role in employee satisfaction.
Importance of upward communication-
Upward communication allows employees to send their feedback, views and opinions to a company authority.it is a major source of information for business decision and keep top management alert about the requirement of changes in the organisation.
Downward communication- it helps the top management to give order to low level authority about their responsibility or company policies.
