History of Aromatherapy:-Initially it was used as an antiseptic Treatment and food flavouring.Plants are herbs are being used .

The egyptians used resins and oils .Fragrant oil myrrh sometimes regarded more valuable than gold.China and India have very long history that used sandalwood to treat cholera. In India used to treat entire body .

Ancient greeks got knowledge about using plants as medicine. They used for reducing fever; daily massage and general good health .During middle ages avicenna discovered process of distillation; during these times women of household would make herbal remedies and essential oils for their families

During 17-19 century healing properties of lavender oil has been discovered during world war -1. Gattefosse went on soldiers with essential oil in military amd began to research using essential oils and reported findings in scientific paper in 1928.This is where the term “Aromatherapy “was first time.Another scientist Jean valnet researches into antiseptic and healing properties; it improved in ways and we are using fresh ; organic; natural ingredients for our oil is what drives us to create new and exciting products.

ADVANTAGES:-it works through sense of smell and skin absorption .

1) Manage pains and improve sleep quality

2)reduce stress ;agitation and anxiety :- relax muscles and allow to forget stress

3)alleviate side effects of chemotherapy

4)fight bacteria; fungus and virus and boosts immune system

5) improve hospice amd palliative care

6) improves psychological well-being

DISADVANTEGES:-Best one is that it has less side effects.

1) Allergic reactions: rash ;

2) some are sensitive to smell and cannot use it .

3) many oils used are not pure which reduces the benifits of it
