Pluralism is a state where people of different races as well as ethnicities are different and would not be having equal standing the society. This has been seen in the US to some extent where most of the people would. BE having equality under law and would be treated equally, but people will also be having characteristics that are non pluralistic. Assimilation is where the minority cultures would be adopting the patterns displayed by the dominant culture. For example, This would be easily seen when a boy of an African American household would be having friends of the American (white) household and would begin to adopt their cultures. Segregation is when there would be physical as well as social differentiation or separation of the categories of the people. An example of this foemin the US is the de facto segregation as well as the de jure segregation. Genocide occurs when there would be systematic killing I’d pwiple who belong to one particular community of category. Example, the sand creek massacre against the Arapaho and the Cheyenne where almost two thirds people were killed.
