Solutions

Expert Solution

How much time did a person spend at the library over a month for them to spend 40 hours reading a book?

Round your final answer to the nearest whole number.

Answer:

In the given query lest assume that the library was closed once every week on Sundays and there were total 5 Sundays in the month of 30days, hence effectively

Month Days: 30
Sundays: 5

Effective working days = Month total days – Sundays

                                                = 3-5 = 25

Total Time spend = 40 hours

Time spend each day = Total Time spend / Effective working days

                                                = 40/30 = 1.60

Hence answer is 1.60 hours.
