Familiarize yourself with Big 5 personality. Imagine that you have been given a 6 month assignment with a work partner. It will be a 60 hour per week assignment and you will work closely together every day, and your bonus at the end of the 6 month period is dependent on the work you both do. Looking at the big 5 traits, identify 2 that you would want your partner to have a high rating in, and which 3 you would be okay with your partner having a low rating in. your partner can have no middle scores, only high and low ( though most people have scores in the middle). So, the Big 5 are conscientiousness, Openness, Agreeableness, extroversion and Neuroticism. A high score means that person has more of that trait ( see the Big 5 chart in the text) and low score means that the person has less of that trait. List two that you would want as high traits in your future work partner, three that you would accept as a low traits, and for each one example why you made that choice.

If we were to do a business together in selling a product i would like the partner to be openess to experience as we have to find ways how to market the product and his curiosity ,application of ideas would help in this situation.His Extrovesion nature would help in being energetic,social and talkativeness.This is very necessary as a marketing person needs to be social and agressive.His attitude to convince a person to buy the product.

conscietiousness in the partner as he has no planning and spontaneous behaviour may not suit the role of a marketing person as he cannot take afford to take decisions on impulse.Agreeableness where in he could be naive and submissive.A person has to be thorough with rapid changes in the marketing conditions and knowledgable with the present and future risks involved.Neuroticism as the person cannot afford to lose his temper as his work requires excellent communication skills,he cannot show his anger on people who do not buy the product after a demonstration.
