What’s the point of college? Do you think college does anything more than just give you a degree that your employer uses to prove that you can stick to something? Does it teach you anything useful? (About life, love, ethics, values, problem solving, communicating with others, etc.) Will you use the knowledge you gain from individual classes?

College play very important role in our growth not only intellectual growth but also social growth. We come accross people with different backgrounds , personality, interact with them and even make friends for life . College not only a mere source of providing degree but as an honours student i realise it help me in social development, analytical reasoning , reduced my stage fear as in college i have to present my presentation on a particular topic which was very difficult task to me better, later i become very confident and now its to easy for me to go and present myself , i used to be an introvert person and didn't know the importance of interaction among people but in college we have to interact due to many occasions , classworks and seminar through which we get to know different qualities of each other and how we can use it to become a better person , college is not a mere place for me which provides degree so that i can get job but yeah i can't deny the fact that i joined it for same though it taught me lessons of how to communicate with others , present myself and become a confident personality . Not only that in field of learning and thinking it enchance my way of seeing things as during seminar different students have their view on same topic and that views of others help me broaden my way of thinking . Being as a nursing student what i have learned in clinicals can't be learned just by reading books as we interact with different groups of people with different issues , our own psychological thinking , analysis is used to determine what is best to be done which may not be learned by books untill the exposure. Learned about ethics and how ethical dilemmas arises and need to be dealt with . What i personally find best thing i have learned from my college that i am blessed to have this much resources as i have seen many students , patients who can't afford the basic requirements such as books which are very expensive and patients have to struggle a lot to get better health facilities as they don't have enough money or may suffered from severe diseases . Though i was less interactive personality but i made some friends which i feel friends for life who taught me how to stand for each other and stay together no matter what , loving is about giving and you get satisfaction with that is best thing to be learned from nursing and it help me to become empathetic about others , to understand how they might be feeling and how i can give my contribution to resolve their problem by my critical thinking and problem solving knowledge which i acquired from different situations in clinical field also learned in nursing about critical thinking and how to implement it in real life.

I will definitely use my knowledge in my life because it not only help me growing intellectually but also help in my overall development from reducing my fear of stage , interaction , learned importance of life and valued it, what is true love and how ethics and value play very important role in our life and also in others while dealing with it and most importantly my communication skills and broaden my area of thinking .
