There are various culture based health practices which leads to harm to the patient

1) People's belief that medication is of no use and only gods will can cure them

2) A particular culture of people believe that blood transfusion is a sin

3) Dietary preferences and culinary practices- some eat only vegetarian while others consider eating onion and garlic as a sin

4) Birth and death rituals- giving honey soon after birth, or giving a last bath to dead body are some of the practices followed by people

5) child care practices- Thinking that the more a child gets hurt the stronger they become or applying mud as a treatment for injury.
