What does it mean that structure and function are related in physiology?
The term physiology basically defines the normal functions (mechanisms, and their interactions) of the living organisms. It is a one branch of biology that can define the proper function and structure of the body. Anatomy and physiology provides the information about structure and function of various organal parts. Physiology deals with the normal function in living systems and the most necessary role of the physiology is to elaborate the structure and functional developments of organisms. Generally physiologists can examine how body parts work together from cells to organ systems and may also evaluate how an organ functions slightly differently from one animal to the next. So in several ways in the human body both the structure and function are highly interlinked the physiology can explain their relation.
