Solutions

Expert Solution

Iconoclastic refers to the act of people who hate the worship of sacraments and images. They try to attack the established religions and their beliefs either physically or verbally. Iconoclasts are very similar to the prophets who speak against the established beliefs of religious and political institutions.

Sacramental means the holy items of religions which people worship in place of God and these are objects retrieved from God like people in the religion. We can still see many sacraments that are preserved in temples, churches and mosques around the world.

Prophetic principles are very much related to the iconoclastic actions. Prophets, at various time periods attacked the established irrelevant and irrational objectives of their own religion. They are seen in abundance in Bible including Jesus Christ and in Islam, Prophet Mohammed and they brought new dimension to their own religions.
