how would you provide a variety of experiences to support the different areas of children's development including a (combination of physical, creative, social, emotional, language and cognitive)
Different areas of children's development
a) physical -locomotion at 6-8 months with creeping on all fours ,then proceeds to pulling to stand ,"cruising "while holding on to an object ,walking by holding an adults hand and finely walking independently.
b) cognitive-cognitive development has genetic and other biological mechanisms,environmental factors including food and nutrition,responsiveness of parents,daily experiences,physical activity and love
c) social -emotional- new born infants do not seem to experience fear or have preferences for contact with any specific people.A baby's first smile occurs between 6 and 10 weeks .It is called a social smile occurs during social interaction.At 8-12 months they have separation anxiety .
d) language- infants begin with cooing and soft vowel sounds. At 5 months of age infants start babbling ,with words like MA or da .at 8 months they start babbling consonant and vowel sounds like da-da .by age1 they say 1-2 words ,between 1-2 yrs they speak 5-20 words .
