ENDOSCOPY
Endoscopy is defined as the diagnostic procedure which is used
to view the internal organs in the body. This allows the doctor to
see the problems without making any incisions in the body. There
are diffrent types of endoscopy based on the location.
The system in the human body that deals with the
gastroscope, colonoscope and duodenoscope is Digestive
system
- Arthroscopy is used to view or operate joints( Skeletal
system)
- Bronchoscopy is used to view the lungs(Respiratory system)
- Colonoscopy is a procedure to view or operate the colon of
large intestine(Digestive system)
- Cystoscopy is a type of endoscopy used to view bladder( Urinary
system)
- Enteroscopy is a procedure to view small intestine( Digestive
system)
- Hysteroscopy is used to view the inside of uterus( Reproductive
system)
- Laparoscope is used to view or operate abdominal or pelvic
area(Reproductive system)
- Laryngoscopy is used to view or operate larynx( respiratory
system)
- Mediastinoscopy used to view or operate mediastinum
- Sigmoidoscopy is used to view or operate sigmoid
colon(Digestive system)
- Thoracoscopy is used to view or operate area between the lungs
and the chest wall
- Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is used to view or operate the
esophagus and upper intestinal tract( digestive system)

. It includes:

- Endocrine system: includes network of glands
- Lymphatic system:includes lymph and organ contain lymphoid
tissue
- Digestive system: includes mouth, esophagus, stomach, small
intestine , large intestine
- Reproductive system: includes male and female reproductive
organs
- Cardiovascular system: includes heart
- Respiratory system: includes organs and tissues for
breathing
- Urinary system.: includes kidneys, renal pelvis, ureters,
bladder and urethra.
