use the general activated sludge /anaerobic digestion model to set up biowin files

Solutions

Expert Solution

Activated sludge for setting up biowin files is as follows:

  • The cycle would be starting with the mixed phase. In this phase, the reactor would be full or almost full. In this phase, there would be mixing of the granular sludge along with the liquor. During this phase the reactor gets aerated or there would be aerated as well as underrated periods.
  • When mixing would be stopping, there would be a settling phase. There would be formation of granules in the settled bed where solids would be settling at the top of the bed.
  • The waste sludge, that has been activated, would be withdraw, before the feed starts. There would be removal of bulk mixed liquor.
  • The influential will be distributed towards the reactor base. The liquid would be overflowing in the launders, and this would be replaced by the effluent.
  • In the end of the feed, before the start of the next cycle, a clear liquid in small amount would be displaced at the reactor top, from the lower end of the laundr.

Choose or collect a data file, use regression theory to set up a model, calculate parameters value, get the regression model, analysis the meaning of model, including R square, F-test, t-test, explain the relation between dependent variable and independent variables. During the analysis, you need to represent the chart, correlation, regression output table. You’d better choose the multiple regression model, preferably one that includes dummy variables.
