Which two Acts set legislative guidelines about how information should be collected, disclosed, used and stored and what do these Acts cover?

There are two acts set legislative guidelines both introduced in 1988 and they are Privacy and personal information protection act and another one is Commonwealth privacy act . These both legislative acts helps in the collection of personal information and protect those from others with certain rules and also stored in safe places.
These acts works as:
--These acts gather the personal information means the unavailable data of that peerson even in normal records like that person's fingerprints, blood samples and their blood type and also samples of their retina and also gather their genetic information and store it in safe places which not give access to others.
