In the book, television is amusing us to death by Neil Postman, the negative influence of the television has been stressed upon. Neil emphasis on the importance and changing culture of the mediums of communication and says that television is the latest medium, which reflects information in form of images and is highly influential. He focuses on the negative influence of the biased information delivered by television channels to the general public. Such information misguides the public and all sorts of important information has just become the source of show business. He does not object the junk delivered by the television rather is concerned about the information which is claimed to be of extreme importance, but is misleading in real sense. He is of the idea that such information is amusing the public towards death of the concrete political and religious information.
