According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the nursing profession is growing at a rapid rate. Growth for registered nurses is projected at 19 percent, which is must faster than the average growth for other professions.

Type of duties in Nursing -

  • Assessing, sometimes diagnosing and planning nursing care needs for the client
  • Delivering pre- and post-operation care to the patients
  • Time to time monitoring and administering appropriate medication and sometimes intravenous infusions
  • Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
  • Making notes and keeping records
  • Supervising other staff members of the team
  • Caring and providing education and emotional support to patients and relatives
