Specifcally how to treat individuals who identify as LGBTQ with dignity and respect. Please discuss why this is important and what are specified lessons you learn that relate to this population.
Now a days we have advanced our lives through knowledge we have about everything existed around us and we believe that there is still a lot more to know. In this continuosly advancing world societies mindsets are also changing towards different things but still there are some sensitive topics which people are hesitating to accept and hence act against them. LGBTQ is one of those sensitive topic of the society. LGBTQ individuals gets bullied even there own families deny to accept the truth and emotionally isolates the individual. Specifically LGBTQ individuals should be treated as same as any other individual of the society. There is nothing wrong to being attracted by a person we like, it should not be a matter that they both are same gender. Every individual have right to take his own decisions. No one can choose their own sexualty inside mother's womb. LGBTQ individuals must get the respect they deserve.
To treat them equally important is needed to stop the bullies who bother them in work place, schools, colleges etc. They should get a sense of security around them as it is a need of an individual to live peacefully. Every individual want to express themselves and who could not do this experience severe mental illnesses like depression and bi-polar disorders. That's why it is very important to maintain a healthy atmosphere.
Lessons which I've learned through this community:-
1. Being Courageous. As they know that after revealing there truth in front of society could make things difficult for them, they accepts the challenge and show up themselves and own their personalities.
2. Strong Mental Health. The whole community is tackling with those who are still against them very bravely without getting shattered.
