•Rights of drug adminstration-Rights of drug adminstration are very necessary to follow to prevent any medication error.

✓Right Drug-Right drug is first right of drug adminstration in which we have to check the drug name,expire date look like and sound like medicine and prescription of doctor in understandable writing.

✓Right Patient- before adminstering any medicine ,verify the patient double check by two identification tool. Like ID band,Ask name the client .

✓Right Dose- Nurse should be check properly prescrition order of the doctor. Nurse should be know about dose of the perticular drug and verify before adminstration of drug.

✓Right Route- Right route is also importent Right of drug adminstration .in which Nurse should be check route of adminstration of perticular drug in prescription order. Like IM,IV, SC and ID

✓Right Time- Nurse should be aware about time and frequency of perticular drug as per prescription order.

✓Right Documentation- Nurse should be document the time and date with signature of adminstration of drug as per hospital policy.

✓Right Assessment- Nurse should be check vital sign before and after medication and look for any adverse and side effect of medicine.

✓Right to Refuse-Nurse should be explain action and side effect of medicine . Patient having full right to refuse the medicine.

✓Right Education- Nurse should be educate to patient regarding expected outcome of medicine.like if nurse administer the diuretics , so nurse should be educate about frequent urination.
