The way of doing business has changed a lot from what it was few years back and today the level of competition both in terms of quality and quantity has increased a lot, hence the roles and responsibilities has also transformed as well. Today being a manager actually involves a lot of responsibilities and duties the individual needs to be both technically sound and have knowledge of the business too. Organizations actually desire a techno functional consultant who will be able to manage both the aspects of the project or organization. The project management methodologies have also changed a lot and the managers need to understand the change required from them as well. A manager need to be able to lead a project, manage the resources and ensure scheduled delivery in order to earn revenue for the organization.
