How might you inspire members to share?

A leader is someone who has the ability to inspire his team members towards a common goal. They create an inspiring vision and then map out a direction to achieve it.

A leader can't accomplish his vision by his own. He requires the support of his team. He must inspire them to share.

WAYS TO INSPIRE SHARING -

1.1-ON-1 MENTORSHIP -

people have their strengths and weaknesses . The leader fully knows his team. He can develop a relationship with each team member and mentor them. It will be beneficial for both the leader and the member.

2.REGULAR INFORMAL MEETINGS -

offices are a formal place for meetups and people do have their mental barriers during office meetups. If a leader wants his team to share more, he must connect at a more personal level. Regular meetups at places like a cafe can help do that.

3.ALLOCATE SEPARATE TIME FOR REFLECTION -

people tend to give importance to something , if they have it in their to-do lists. Make sure you dedicate a separate time block where people can focus on just sharing.

4.LEADER HAS TO INITIATE FIRST -

leader is the one who can make people follow him.He has to set an example for others by firstly sharing his valuable insights.

5.APPRECIATE THOSE WHO ALREADY DO -

there are people in every organization, who are already doing more than what is expected of them. Incentivising them would keep them motivated and also nudge others to do the same.
