It provides a purpose to the organisation and the employees and are essential in defining future goals and organisational strategy. Vision is a long term goal where as mission is a combination of short term strategies and goals to achieve the vision. Without vision , developing a corporate policy is waste because doing a thing without purpose have no meaning.
