Answer- Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that cause flu like symptoms and bull eye rash. It spread by the bite of tick infected with Borellia burgdoferi. It is not common in each part of US. The warmer areas are more suspectible.
The purpose of differential diagnosis is to differentiate the disease from other diseases that have same sign and symptoms.
Joint aspiration is the removal of fluid from the nearby swelled area of joint for diagnosis.
Antibodies are the substance that act against an antigen that infest the body. These are produced by the white blood cell.
PCR is a polymerase chain reaction that is used to multiply the DNA molecules. It look like for a specific DNA segment for its polymerization.
