What signs do you look for?
First we should assess the site of pain.
- Chest pain
- Pain in left arm,Pain betweenshoulder blade
- upper abdominal pain
- Limited range of motion
- Muscle pain
- joint pain and stiffness
- Sharp pain
- Radiation pain
- Burning sensation
- back pain
- Leg cramps
- Cracking joints, joints deformity
- History collection( importance in age past surgical and medical
history)
What could be the problem?

- Spinal stenosis

What do you do?
- Asses the site of pain
- Provide calm and quit environement.
- Check Heart rate and respiration.
- Observe the pain whether it is radiating or not
- Ensure the safty of the patient
- Avoid croud
- Call for help
- shift him to the nearest hospital as soon as possible
How do you plan for a trip into the woods?
- Select the place for camping nearest to hospital. (Minimum 4Km
,Max 10Km distance)
- Keep first aid kit always ready.
- Ensure the avilabilty of water foods and energy drinks.
- Safe camping tent.
- Keep the nearest hospital, ambulance, fire and police station
number
- Keep basic medicines
- Plan carefully and make sure your vehicle(s) and equipment are
in good working order.
- Read signs and information carefully. Pay attention to any
safety warnings.
- Supervise children, especially near water and in areas with
potentially dangerous wildlife.
- Don't assume water is safe to drink. Boil or treat water before
use.
- Keep your food in locked containers or in your car to keep it
safe from wildlife
- Take extra supplies in case you get stranded by sudden weather
changes.
- Wear protective clothing to avoid sunburn, bites, scratches and
stings.
- Never feed or provoke wild animals—be wary of wild animals in
the area.
- Be alert for sudden weather changes, particularly storms and
cyclones. Be prepared to evacuate if necessary.
- Only light camp fires in parks where it is permitted. Many
national parks do not allow open fires.
- Extinguish fires whenever you leave your campsite unattended;
use water, not sand (it retains heat and can cause severe
burns).
- Never use portable gas appliances in your tent or van.
