Poter's five forces anaysis about video
conferencing :
- Threat of new entry - video conferencing via
cloud is one of the most competitive field and entry of new players
is easy but establishing is difficult as the already well
established players like skype(Mircrosoft) ,Cisco tend to have
there own level of user experience making people attached to
it
- Competitive rivalries - as a field of
technology ,bringing an edge is always a fight for, all the IT
experts tend to fight as many companies from many nations do fight
for it (most influential point in video conferencing industry)
- Bargaining power of suppliers - here from the
price of the supplier from availability to the strategical approach
of supplier to give supplies do matter as it will be different in
terms of concepts and ideas bringing product and user experience
differentiation
- Bargaining power of buyers - normally buyers
are the ones who can have full advantage of it as with the changing
time such services do not have any direct costs rather internet
connectivity is required
- Threat of substitution - in the
time of pandemic it has been one of the most used source whether
for work , education, learning or communication. However, audio
conferencing can be there but the visual effects of video
conferencing can't be taken by mere audio
Conclusively, as
per poter's five aspects for video conferencing the competetive
rivilary has a bigger role to play . But all can be stated as
above
