Solutions

Expert Solution

Blow- by technique is a common form of nebulizer therapy. it is mainly used with unco-operative child.

the device is usually held away from child face

it has mainly 3 parts nebulizer, compressor and a face mask system.

Blow-by technique is very effective for unco-operative child, delivering nebulizer treatment is difficult for infants, they wont use mouthpiece effectively. in blow- by technique, the mask is held at a distance from the child face. in this technique, the mask is keeping a distance the aerosol delivery may decreases.

Breath actuated nebulizer is a medical device, it work with a compressed air source to convert liquid form of medicaions in to an aerosol form.so it is easy to inhale. small volume nebulizer used only for aerosol medications. breath actuated nebulizer is only produced when we inhale through the device, the medicines will remain the cup and when ever needed we can use, the medication remais as liquid form and once the nebulizer machine on the liquid form of medication convert in to aerosol form so no wastaging of medication happens.
