Ageing is not only gaining years, it is different for every individual. Some people age faster than others.

The various aspects of ageing is physical, psychological and spiritual which don't occur at the same rate.

Some factors like heredity, congenital anomalies, Smoking, nutrition, electrolyte imbalance, physical demands, lifestyle, changes in hormone production contribute in various way for person to age.

The nurse should give health education on these topics and how to overcome the effect on individual life and promote health.

Some more factors can also be included like social group for alone old age individual and use of public services for independent aged person etc can be included and disease prone to old people due to weak immune system and some hormonal problems associated with it osteoporosis etc.
