Hyperthermia related to infectious process of endocarditis as evidenced by a temperature of 39 C and tachycardia.
Endocarditis infection is an inflammation of the endocardium it is usually limited to the membrane lining and valves. The cause of endocarditis may be virus ,fungal and common bacterial. Most common organism is streptococcus viridans.
Tachycardia it is the heart rate (heartbeat )above 100 beats per minute.
The four intervention are:-
* Monitoring the vital signs
* Provide supplemental oxygen if needed
* Monitoring fluid including IVs
* Monitoring the patient heart rate.
* Administering antipyretics as ordered by the doctor.
