What should be included on a Design Overlays and Design Rationale on a document for a website?

Design Overlay is like a contentbox that is displayed on other page for deciding some action, Completing a form or to view content.

• It should be simple, maintainable and Durable.
• It should be clearly accessible to the users having keyboard by providing Escape button.
• It should include close command very clearly.
• To recover from accidentally closing overlay, the field inputs should be saved, while completing a form and overlay should be easy to reactivate..
• It may also include Explicit button to decide what action it would perform knowing its consequences.e.g. Linkedin and other similar websites use 'Yes, Remove them' button to remove their contacts.

• First Write the name of the client and the project name.
• Explain the reason for designing your website.
• write the target audience for which the website is designed.
• Dont pass any judgement for your own work.
• Most importantly keep the documentation to the point!!!!
