A middle-age man presents to the emergency department (ED) with reports of chest pain and indigestion. He reports some minor discomfort in his jaw. The patient is alert and oriented; BP 90/50; HR/80. You are the RN assigned to his care. There is an unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) working with you.
1.The patient's wife is very concerned about her husband returning to work as owner of a roofing company. What education will you provide the patient and his wife at this time? With which health care team members will you collaborate to ensure positive patient outcomes?

As his history describes of chest pain, indigestion, minor discomfort in his jaw the condition may be early stage of heart attack. Though it can be Gastrointestinal problems. The confirmatory diagnosis of the condition can be only rule out when the diagnostic test are done.
NURSING EDUCATION --
a)Avoid eating fatty foods, fast foods, soft drinks,red meats, dairy products.
b) Add more vegetables, fruits, whole grains to your diet.
c) limit your daily salt intake( not more than 5 gram per day).
d) Try to be physically active .. you should do exercise atleast 30 minutes in a day which may be walking, running, cycling, swimming, or whatever exercise do you like.
f) Take small frequent meals. Because frequent small meals are easily digestible.
g) Don't go for sleeping immediately after eating. Give a gap of 2 hours from the eating meal and go for sleep.
h) take the medication as prescribed. Don't skip tbe medication.

HEALTH CARE MEMBERS INCLUDED--
a. Primary healthcare physician who will come in first contact with patient.
b. Cardiologist- a doctor specialist of heart, cardiovascular related problems.
c. Gastrointestinologist-- doctor who have detailed knowledge in Gastrointestinal tract.
d. Registered nurse , nurse practitioner- who will take care of the patient.
f. Psychologist.
g. Dietitian or nutritionist.
