1,Generation X was born between 1965-1980 they are between 41-55
years old.
There are 20% of the US population is X generation when the baby
boomer generation age and retries increases the gen X increasing.
this generation will be move open to diversity. they are the first
generation for internet available health information. many X
generation taken care of their children and their older parents.
their generation need face to face communication they use
technology for their health care needs.they expect evidence based
care and over the counter remedies. Genration X need care from
their same family group or extended relationship to caring
them.
Genration Y was born between 1981-1996 they are between 26-40 years
old. Gen y is Americans youngest generations or milennials. they
need high quality, cost effective and safe health care. care and
service must satisfy the needs and manage the expectations. they
need care form various health care group of nurses, physician,
allied health professionals, administrators and support staff. they
are marked by still fluid stipulations of ACA.barriers to receive
health care they have problem demand in transparency and
accountability.
Baby boomers born between 1946-1964, their long life expectancy,
baby boomers have much chronic illness it makes their health care
cost higher and increases the needs for health care professionals.
there is lot of challenges for care baby boomers generation ages.
They need better long term care that work better, strengthening the
behavioral health and advance in medicine make their health active.
community service help for accessibility, change the cultural needs
of agieng that improve their community life.
As an older generation, they need personal security, safety, mental
health, financial security. federal health insurance program for
resources, Medicaid and Medicare, private health insurance plan
policies help to serve citizens in their health care needs. home
health care, assisted living, hospice care, nursing homes help pay
for service. evidence-based medical interventions with affordable
access meet the needs of seniors. universal health care and address
their chronic illness and improving long term care for older
generations.
