PROGRESSIVE DISCIPLINE AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
1. PROGRESSIVE DISCIPLINE
In this project question my topic is ''progressive discipline and performance management". Basically progressive discipline can be defined as rules and policies of the organization that help in the building the behavior of the employees at workplace. As we know that discipline is one of the most important part of the policies and structure of organization. All the members of the organization are affected by these policies and rules of the discipline at the workplace. Progressive discipline helps the employees to behave in a manner in the organization that can help in their life also. Basically we can say that discipline affect the performance of the employees at workplace and their future growth out of the workplace.
2. FUTURE GROWTH WITH DISCIPLINE
Discipline helps the employees in various ways. It helps in the future growth of the employees as well. With the help of discipline, employees and staff of the company can obsorb growth in their future. Some of the examples of this growth are given as follows -
1. Discipline provide defined set of behavior to the individuals and it will help them in various aspects of their lives.
2. Discipline plays very important role in the controlling behavior of the individual.
3. Discipline teaches the employees to treat each other equally at the workplace.
4. Performance improvement also affected by the discipline policies at workplace.
5. With the help of discipline policies employees learn dynamic behavior pattern in the organization.
3. DISCIPLINE AND PROGRESSIVE PERFORMANCE
As we know that discipline plays very important role in the nature and behavioral patterns of the individual person. So we can say that management between the discipline and performance is compulsory because both these parameter are major aspect of the individual. For example if a employee behave in a very disciplined manner in the organization then staff of the organization and management will treat this employees as hardworking and good performer. So we can say that discipline results in progressive performance in the organization. Because both the concepts are interrelated to each other and there is sufficient impact of both the parameters on each other. So if an employee wants to improve his or her performance then he or she should start following the rules and norms of the discipline at workplace and life as well.
4. FUTURE GROWTH WITH PERFORMANCE
In an organization it is very important for any employee to focus on his or her future growth for that purpose employees have to work hard, follow the defined rules and regulation, act according to the discipline policies. So we can say that discipline also plays very important role in the improvement of the performance of the employees. It increase the morale of the employees at workplace which helps in performance improvement. Future growth depends on the current or present decisions of the employee so each and every employees should follow the rules and disciplinary policies of the organization for the growth of future.
