Yes, a national health care program can be beneficial as it can help in bringing the distributional efficiency in the healthcare system. However, the healthcare system in the United States is different from all other countries and the National Health Care system was failed in the U.S. These are several standards that need to be met by future health care in the U.S.

Yes, I am in favor of ACA, due to its positive features. The positive features of ACA:

  • Irrespective of the insurance plan and income, the quality is aimed to be equal for all the individuals
  • The same physicians are available to choose for all types of plans, which ensures distribution of equal quality care.
  • Individuals are previously recommended to choose plans if their current physician accepts them.
  • A team of healthcare experts works to come up with ideas to preserve and reform Medicare and to improve the coverage quality while reducing the cost.

The negative features of ACA:

  • Increased premium costs
  • Increased deductible health plans

Both the individual and government should take a role in meeting the healthcare expenses. If no insurance is present, one can receive the healthcare services from the hospitals receiving the funds from the federal agencies. Applying for Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are the other options. Nonprofit hospitals also offer emergency medical care.
