Balancing the quality of patient care with acceptable financial burdens is an issue that policy makers and healthcare executives constantly struggle with.
How does the Affordable Care Act align with the four economic objectives?
What approaches would you keep or do differently to better balance patient care and financials?
Affordable Care Act (ACT) enables each and every individual to enjoy the benefit of Healthcare in U.S. Even those who lie low in the income food chain, governent is giving subsidies (huge in number) in order to facilitate these family to buy insurance cover. This act would help those individuals and family who lie very close to federal poverty level. These given scenarios wil bring changes in the commercial Insurance sector.
The expansion of medicaid program would help previously uninsured poor working class. The coverage of health insurance has been expanded and now some major treatments which were not insured previously will now come under this umbrella. But there are few drawbacks of this expansion too. The coverage of this expanded program is quite good but on the contrary the payments could be an issue. There are still few reforms to be made in order to streamline better functioning of this ACA act.
