Hospitalisation is a stressful event especially if it's a paediatric patient because they are not use to of such environment. Increased and repeated hospitalisation May cause trauma to child's emotional and psychological aspects as well as increase fear which can cause decrease in immunity system. The child may also be hesitant to even socialise with people due to less interaction with an individuals. Hospitalisation have short and long term effects on paediatric patient.
