If the information is adapted to their learning style, they will quickly retain and understand it. Lack of understanding means that they will ultimately not change their behaviour. Therefore learning styles affect behaviour change to a large extent as they dictate the manner in which information is understood.
• To accomodate, different learning lifestyle in promotion:
- Engage the employee in conversation about the working
condition.
- Question employees about the material.
- Ask for oral summaries.
- Have them tape lectures and review for continuous
education.
- Have them tape themselves reviewing material and listen to it
together.
