Organizational objectives refer to the organization's short term as well as long term goals/ the achievement of these goals leads to the overall achievement of strategic goals. In a manufacturing organization nearby my area has many objectives, but its three chief goals are:
• Increasing the production
• Reducing the injuries occurring in the organization
• Reducing the cost of production without compromising the quality
Maintenance of the organization is concerned with all the administrative, managerial, and technical actions during the life cycle of a product, offered by the organization. It is not limited to the physical maintenance of the equipment. Maintenance is essential for the achievement of these organizations.
Increasing the production- the maintenance ensures the production time is not lost by confirming that all equipment is working correctly and not to be a failure during the production and focus on minimizing the losses due to the stoppage during production.
Reducing accident at workplace- the safety of the employees is ensured by the maintenance of facilities such as compressors, boilers, and material handling equipment.
Cost-effectiveness in production- the proper maintenance with the scheduling and planning, the reliability of the equipment is improved, and this reduces the cost in overall production.
