Ethics of care model and Narrative ethics :

Ehics of care model: It is an approach to care based on Feministic theories . In this model the ethics of care questioned the traditional male dominant moral theories. It is also called as Care ethics.

Example of an Ethical caring; Emtional hug to a partner or to a friend, when she needs a care.

Miton Mayeroff, Carol Gilligan were the proponents of ETHICS OF CARE model.

Narrative ethics model:  

Narrative refers to the systematic recitation of an  event or series of events. Narrative ethics model approach focuses on identity of person, that is narrated through stories or narrative of life events. This model has the resemblance towrads virtue ethics. It akso emphasise that moral values are the integral part of the story telling or stories.

Similarities: Both models are the coming under the brach of ethics. Ethics is the study of principles relating to right and wrong conduct . Both models are emphasising on ethics but in different views.  

Difference: Both models are different in their view towards exhibiting ethics. Ethical care model gives emphasise on caring relationships and the main components are care of self and others, the qualities of attention and respect towards others. Maintain justice and completion in relations etc. Whereas Narrative ethics are focusing on manifesting the virtues and one's qualities in story telling or in their stories or narratives.   So that through stories the the ethical qualities of author/ character can reach to audience. It argues that one can gain ethical insight by reading such type of narratives.  

Complementary and Alternative medicine:

Complementary medicine : Any of several therapies that combine conventional medical practices with those of alternative medicine such as acupuncture or homeopathy.

Alternative medicine: Any if various medical methods and practices used in place of, or as well as , conventional medicine.  

Example: Ayrveda instead of Conventional medicine

Differences: Complementary medicine is used along with the Standard treatment. Example: use of herbal supplements in reducing cholesterol along with Antihypertensives treatment or acupuncture to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy or radiation.

Alternative medicine can be used instead of modern medicine. Both should not be used at the same time. There will be damage to health.
