Describe as completely as you can the complete feedback system for the control of Spermatogenesis. Include in your answer:

                        a.         cells and cell types involved in regulating factor/tropic hormone/hormone production and secretion

                        b.         feedback loop and sites of influence for all hormone types

                        c.         physical and chemical changes to the major reproductive structures and secondary sexual characteristics of the individual.

                        d.         The stages and events in cellular division

Expert Solution

a) Hypothalamus secretes gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH). This hormone stimulates the anterior pituitary gland to secrete the hormones that is follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone. The follicle stimulating hormone activates the seminiferous tubules to produce sperm by the spermatogenesis. FSH also binds to the sertoli cell and secrets to protein androgen binding protein and inhibin protein. Whereas the luteinizing hormone binds to the interstitial cells and stimulates them to produce testosterone.

b) There is found negative feedback loop which control the spermatogenesis. The increase in concentration of testosterone hormone will inhibit the secretion of anterior pituitary and hypothalamus. The inhibin hormone which is released from the sertoli cell will inhibit the anterior pituitary and hypothalamus gland to secrete their hormone.

c) the testosterone which is secreted from the ladies cell under the control of luteinizing hormone will be responsible for generating secondary sexual character in the male individual. It is also responsible for formation of reproductive tract and other organs in the body which are helpful in reproductive processes in male. This includes the development of seminiferous tubules, sertoli cells vasa deferentia, girth in male genital organ. The secondary sexual character includes bread and moustache in males. The growth of muscles.

d) the stages and events in cellular division are following:

* Multiplicative phase: the sperm cell produces spermatogonia by the process of Mitosis.

* Growth phase: Then there is found growth phase. In growth phase, the one of the b cell lineage is converted into primary spermatocyte.

* Maturation phase: Then the maturation phase is found. There is found meiosis 1 and meiosis 2 in maturation phase. The one producer secondary spermatocyte from the primary spermatocyte. There are two secondary spermatocyte are produced. Then secondary spermatocyte Indigo the process of meiosis II. This leads to the production of spermatids. Therefore spermatid produced. Then spermatids are converted into spermatozoa by the process of spermiogenesis.
