1.Cell junction is the cell to cell direct contact made for intercellular communication. In plant Plasmodesmata is the only cell junction .

2.Plants have only one kind of cell junction because plant cell posses cell wall due to which plasma membrane of one cell cannot touch with neighbouring cells. Therefore microscopic channels are formed in cell wall which conect cytoplasm of one cell to neighbouring cell and that channel is nothing but the plasmodesmata.

3. Cell-Cell signaling involving Signal Transduction and G-Proteins.- The cell signalling mechanism which involves signal transduction through G-proteins coupled receptors and G- proteins is called GPCR signalling.
