Mendel performed a genetic experiment on dinosaurs involving three different traits as following:
Green skin color (G) is dominant over brown skin color (g)
Red-eye color (R) is dominant over yellow eye color (r)
Long leg (L) is dominant over short leg (l)
Help Mendel perform this hybridization and find expected results. Make sure you show the following in
your work: start with “True breeder” for all three traits (Green skin, red-eye, long legs - GGRRLL and brown
skin, yellow eye, and short legs - ggrrll).
1. Identify possible gametes, phenotypes, and genotypes in F1 progeny. Show your work using the
provided Punnet Square below

list all phenotypes below and provide the ratio of each as you would have identified from the
table above.
Most common phenotype and ratio:
Next common phenotype and ratio:
Next common phenotype and ratio:
Least common phenotype and ratio:
1. Most common phenotype :-
All dominant phenotypes.
Ratio = 27/64.
2. Next common phenotype :-
Two dominant and one recessive phenotype.
Ratio = 9/64.
3. Next common phenotype :-
One dominant and two recessive phenotype.
Ratio = 3/64.
4. Least common phenotype :-
All three recessive phenotype (ggrrll).
Ratio = 1/64
