Major stimulus factors which
used to attract attention are as follows;
- SIZE-When the
stimulus is in small size the higher chances to be unnoticed,
- ATTRACTIVE
VISUALS- when the visuals are attractive and
eye-catching the chances are high of getting attention,
- FULL
INFORMATION- too much or too less information both
are important to draw attention, generally, too much information
becomes the cause of detraction,
- EXPECTATIONS-
the expectations when meet to the consumer's demand it fetches the
attention,
- COLORS AND
MOVEMENT- stagnant items and the less vibrant
colors are lead to be unnoticeable,
- INTENSITY-
generally repetition leads to a decrease in attention.
Major problem arises when the
stimulus used to get attention;
- The demand of the consumers-
when the demand of the consumer didn't meet the product quality it
creates an attraction gap,
- Expectation-
there are a set of expectations from the consumer's side which
should have parity with the stimulus used,
- Less Attractive Visuals- when
the visuals are less attractive, creates a distraction,
- Knowledge- The product
knowledge is used to get and deviate the attraction as a
stimulus.
Hence we can say that stimulus are
the major factors to get the attention or become the cause of
distraction also in the market wise use of it would be recommended
always.
