The role of a receiver differs from stream to stream. Just as in the case of communication the role of a receiver is entirely different than compare to a receiver appointed by court to deal with parties business involved in a dispute.

In we talk about communication, the role of receiver is to understand completely what message a sender sends and on the basis of it respond accordingly. Receiver ensures that right message is conveyed. Just as to make a communication effective two roles are important one is of sender and the other one is of receiver.
