The covid 19 pandemic lead a great havoc in many parts of the world with many countries still not following precautions.
The china lead sars-2 in wuhan spread across the world with 541 deaths per million in Italy, 284 death per million in us where as Australia on the other hand was able to combat the mortality by only 4 deaths per million as compared to the other countries .
The AHPPC consist of-

The AHPPC endorsed the health emergency plan
There have been reported cases of high mortality I other parts of the world but Australian on the other hand followed various health policies which helped flatten the curve and reduce the rapid spread of this virus.
Australia had various approach regarding the management of corona unlike many countries like us and uk which took the actions of curfew at a very delayed stage which led to community related spread where as Australia on the other part had following approaches,
- to monitor and investigate the cases as they occur
-Chracterise the nature of the virus and severity of the disease
-research regarding the novel corona virus pandemic
-early and prompt management of cases
-enable rapid recovery of cases
The main strategies was to reduce mortality and morbidity, community education and development, early detection and isolation.

Initial stage included -
Minimize transmission, preparing and supporting health care system, managing initial case and contact, identifying the nature of the virus and it's characteristic. Promote best practice Heath care in community.
Standown-
Providing information about the disease and it's treatment and the most accurate and up to date knowledge must be delivered to the public initiating the phase of transition to normal
Diabetic client- caring out necessary management of patient with diabetes who are Immuno compromised hence home based care was provided keeping in mind the nature of the virus.
Unlike other countries which faced a lack of resources like ventilator, icu and packed hospitals.
Australia on the other hand started Refiguring wards seperate icus for covid patients, building hot wards for covid positive and cold for non covid cases, call up of recently retired health workers, fever clinics, online self assessment tool, telecommunications as a means of hospital outpatient advice,
Contact tracing those individuals who were exposed along with fast tracking cases, paved way for improvement.
Securing personal protective equipment and providing training for safe gowning and disposable
