COLLABORATION
Working harder at working together: Building collaboration between public health and health care delivery...such collaborative efforts should reduce inefficiencies In the greater health Care system,result in improved responses to public health crises,and improve the support of public health.
Collaboration challenges people to think,articulate and receive clarity about their competencies.it serves as a mirror that gives them a glimpse of their strengths and weaknesses.Because two heads are better than one,teams work better together and plug each other's gaps.
NEGOTIATION
Negotiating and influencing are particularly important skills in public health, as we often lead without authority and are therefore reliant on the success of our behavior and skills in dealing with colleagues within the organisations in which we work and also with external partners.
Negotiation,like the delivery of health Care, is at its core about understanding and engaging with people more effectively.Heath care professionals and administrators who develop the skills of effective negotiations will find that they are better equipped to heal,collaborate and innovate.

CONFLICT
If conflict is not directed and controlled, it can have damaging effects in the work place,stifling the growth of departments and deflating employee morale.Our job as health care managers is to deal with conflict so that it does not decrease productivity or detract from the provision of patent-centered care.
