Answer:

An operating system's speed and dynamic user interface define the ease of usage of the device and computer programs' speed and efficiency. If an operating system does not guarantee the confidentiality of storage data or cannot block viral applications, no matter how user-friendly it is, the operating system is not worth using. Thus, the following factors are to be considered while selecting the operating system:
1. Ease of usage: It's got to be easy to use. Much of the functions are possible with Microsoft Windows in dialog boxes and shortcuts. And with computer-illiterate workers, this makes things fun and saves time.
2. The expected use: Many operating systems are very versatile and may be used for numerous purposes, but their relative strengths and limitations are also worth considering.
3. Level of protection: The device should give an acceptable level of security. This requires both logical entries, as well as network protection, to the particular computing device.
4. Hardware compatibility: The machine must handle the operating system modules and the multiple hardware types in operation.
5. Software compatibility: If you intend to use commercial software, this is an essential question. Applicable software programs used in executing the required tasks can support the operating system chosen. Thus, the program used to execute the tasks must be consistent with the chosen operating system.
