1.How does secretin affect bile and pancreatic juice?
2. How does CCK affect bile and pancreatic juice?
3. How are amino acids, triglycerides, and monosaccharides absorbed in the small intestine?
4. How do bacteria in the large intestine help us?
ANS)
1)
Actually secretin is a peptide hormone made in s cells of first part of small intestine( duodenum) ,that are situated in intestinal glands. The secretin will trigger the bile formation by liver, bile will emulsify the fats from the food in duodenum and because of that the pancreatic lipase can operate on them.
2)
Cholecystokinin triggers the gallbladder to constrict and discharge stored bile to the gut. They will also trigger the secretion of pancreatic juice and can persuade welfare.
3)
Normally aminoacids are absorbed through a sodium cotransporter,in same procedure to monosaccharides. After that they will travel over the basolateral membrane by means of facilitated diffusion .The dipeptide and tripeptides will be absorbed through discrete H+ relayed cotransporters and once interior the cell are normally hydrolysed to the aminoacids.
Triglycerides which are consumed by us initially reach the stomach and then to the small intestine, then the liver release bile salt through the gall bladder and disseminate the fat micelles and after that these substance are absorbed to cells lining small intestie and their they will be reincorporated to the triglycerides.
4)
Lots of bacteria which live in large intestine may additionally digest some of the substance ,producing gas.The bacterias present in the large intestine will also produce some of the major materials like the vitamin k, which perform a major function in the blood clotting.
