The web clearly provides the worldwide marketers with a unique distribution and communication channel. Buying and selling the goods and services is the main marketplace. For many global multinationals the challenge is to write off the benefits the web offers. Going global can provide an avenue for further growth for scores of internet startups that initially focused on their home market.

Amazon anticipates that Europe could ultimately prove to be a better place to do e-commerce than the United States for two reasons: with Europe's high population density (1) delivery is faster and (2) real estate prices are high in high-traffic urban areas , resulting in a cost advantage.

By making it easier to run a business from anywhere, the Internet helps small business owners to be more mobile. One of the more significant effects that the Internet has for small business on global markets is the ability of small businesses to reach a very low cost international audience. Websites on social networking enable companies to interact at no cost with millions of potential customers worldwide.

Web marketing uses the computer system as a means of communication with the aim of achieving core marketing goals as well as promoting the product or service through digital media wireless channels. In addition , the internet provides a more diverse environment for business development, along with international marketing. In fact, internet refers to the network that includes various computer systems with interweavings. This network runs on the standard protocol around the globe and such protocol helps flow and transfer information / data between the computer systems that are connected to it.
