The body of works in Western philosophy leads us to the fact that the virtue of justice is a human moral excellence but we don't always hit the mark so to speak. In fact, no matter how we define justice it never seems to capture why injustices keep occurring. What principles, values and moral virtues do we need to promote in order to bring us closer to social justice in contemporary society ?

Justice is an integral part of our society. The stability and progress of a society depend largely on justice practised my the members of the community. To establish justice the people should follow the following principles:

  • They should not nourish racial or religious prejudices. Such prejudices leads one to the path of injustice.
  • People should follow the principles of equality. Equality is very close associate of justice.
  • People should be aware of laws and they must obey the laws of the state.
  • People should be politically and socially aware .
  • They must respect other's value.
  • People should obey the rights of every human beings.
  • People should avoid violent ways to face any challenge.
  • They must be culturally developed. Culture should be enriched and dynamic.
  • The basic moral principles should be followed by the people. There must be a friendly and familiar relationship.
  • There must not be any discrimination based on race, sex, gender, religion and color.
  • People should be liberal and free from the conservative attitudes and superstitions.

Such values and principles help to establish social justice in the conventional society.
