The hand sanitier in an unmarked bottle act as a heath hazard in the home.It will contain dangerous levels of methanol, a toxic substance that can cause nausea, nerve damage and blindness when absorbed through the skin and death, if ingested.The alcohol-based hand sanitizer must contains at least 60 percent ethanol.This type of sanitizer may not have the needed percent of ethanol.

The most common type of adverse health effects for both alcohol- and non-alcohol-based hand sanitizers were ocular irritation, vomiting, conjunctivi- tis, oral irritation, cough, and abdomi- nal pain. Rare effects included coma, seizure, hypoglycemia, metabolic aci- dosis, and respiratory depression.Younger kids are more susceptible to adverse effects from these products because there is not as much glycogen in their liver.

The health hazard in home affect public health because the health of the population as a whole is called public health .With proper Information,education  and empowerment ,we can reduthis health hazards
