The respiratory system work directly with cardio vascular systemto provide O2 to the each cell of the body. The O2 taken from the respiratory system carried by the heamoglobin to each and evey children, the respiratory system is controlled by the brain the centre medulla oblagetta. The respiratory system is also called the pulmonary system. The respiration is necessary to live,it is one of the 8 main life process common most living beings. they need respiration to get enery from food to convert energy so the digestive system and the metabolism are related to the respiratory system.the released enery from the oxydation of food helps daily activities like movement, gorwth ,chemical reactions, active transport, nerve impulses etc so the respiratory system is linked with every system in our body. The medical terminology helps the system by understanding each other and communicate effectively.

Diagram how the respiratory system and the renal system compensate in the body to maintain blood pH. Complete this Case Study: Bob is a 64-year-old male admitted to the emergency room for asthma. His laboratory results are as follows: pH 7.31, pCO2 higher than normal, and total HCO3– also higher than normal. Classify his acid-base balance as acidosis or alkalosis, and as metabolic or respiratory. Is there evidence of compensation? Propose the mechanism by which asthma contributed to the lab...
