COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the economy and touched the core of organisations the world over. The impact has been quite challenging and mostly negative, however there have been few positive takes as well.

COVID-19 has reduced human interactions due to the nature of the pandemic, which resulted in less manpower at work, wage issues, migration of workers and social distancing at workplace. This has seriously impacted production and even overall business in sectors like manufacturing and hospitality. Further, uncertain times have resulted in less liquidity in market and no new investments; which starts a chain of misfortune for down the line businesses. Thus companies need to rethink and focus on new areas, course-correct the vision and mission to align with the market and demand.

COVID-19 has also challenged the innovative side of people. Organizations, big or small have started using technology innovatively to suit their purpose. Business interactions,training, and office works are done on virtual platforms, giving a fresh outlook to team work. Innovative products and innovation in existing methods has been on a rise. All of this is setting fresh perspective to core strength or values of the organisation against any challenge now or in future.
